3. Sjømannsgata 5

4. The Hurtigruten quay

Separate from the tour operators: the coastal ships call daily, and the Bodø–Svolvær express passenger boat and the Skrova connection also use harbour berths.

If you’re joining a coastal voyage or arriving by express boat rather than booking a day tour, this is your quay — and it’s adjacent to Torget, so the walk to any of the tour departure points is short.

Parking

There is no free parking in central Svolvær. This catches out drivers arriving from a week of Lofoten’s generous roadside pull-ins.

The two main paid car parks:
